UN Belarus Results Report

For Belarus, 2020 was a year of serious trials, but the UN in Belarus continued to implement its programs, working on both urgent and long-term projects for the benefit of the people of Belarus. The 2020 UN Results Report in Belarus reflects the multifaceted work of eighteen UN agencies, funds and programs that contribute to the development process in Belarus.
The report is the first publication of its kind, presenting an overall picture of the work of all UN agencies, funds and programs providing assistance to Belarus, including FAO, IAEA, ILO, IOM, ITU, OHCHR, UNAIDS, UNISDR, UNDP, UNECE, UNFPA, UN-Habitat , UNHCR, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNODC, UN Women and WHO.
The report reflects the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, long-term programs to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), efforts to stimulate cooperation between the government and civil society, as well as engagement with all sectors of Belarusian society, with a focus on vulnerable populations. The report provides examples of effective partnerships and financial support, and sets goals for the future.
