Through its human rights work, the UN in Belarus seeks to promote the engagement of Belarus with the UN human rights mechanisms, to assist in the implementation of human rights standards and recommendations.

The UN in Belarus is also active in promoting dialogue on human rights at the national level, with the involvement of state actors and civil society.
