On May 27, 2020 an online meeting was held bringing together SDG National Coordinator Anatoly Isachenko, UN Resident Coordinator in Belarus Joanna Kazana-Wisniowiecki, UNICEF Representative in Belarus Rashed Mustafa Sarwar, UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Alexandra Solovieva, and UNFPA Assistant Representative in Belarus Olga Atroshchenko.
Over 60 schools of Minsk region have taken part in the regional discussion conducted today as part of The Future We Want global dialogue, the initiative carried out by UN in Belarus in partnership with the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus on the occasion of the United Nations Organization's 75th anniversary.
The ancient town of Pinsk in the region of Belarusian Polesie was the first to host the UN75 national youth dialogues in the framework of the UN global information campaign "Towards the future we want," the launch of which was announced in Minsk in March 2020.
On May 19, as part of the open regional discussions entitled, “The Future We Want: Our Ideas and Actions” dedicated to the UN 75th Anniversary, an online meeting involving educational establishments of Gomel and Gomel region took place.
